Overview

Rainbows and Sprinkles is a Devon-based activewear company that was established during lockdown. After experiencing heavy growth over lockdown they then struggled to engage their fast-grown audience.

We worked on implementing a strategy that encouraged their followers to engage with the content by touching on their own personal values and building that into our content.

By introducing more relatable graphics and reels we adapted to what the audience was looking for from Rainbows and Sprinkles.

The brief

What I did 

To increase engagement of current followers whilst growing the account to a more targeted audience. To implement stronger branding and storytelling that the audience can relate to.

I changed the tone of voice to capture the humour of the Rainbows and Sprinkles audience by introducing relatable memes and quotes in order to build more of a community.

 

The audience engaged heavily with voting for the designs they liked best, so I implemented a strategy focussed around getting them to share their opinion. 

Finally I thought about other areas of the customers' personal life and used that as a base to create lifestyle content so that we could align ourselves better to their values, particularly in video content.

Results

Increase in average reel views from 800 per reel to 10k per reel, all organically.

 

Sustainable growth month on month.

Strong increase in engagement in every new content pillar we introduced.

Huge increase in a variety of engagement including comments and sharing UGC.
